Try this: at least once a day, pause for two minutes. Put one hand on your chest, one on your belly. Breathe in for four, out for six. Feel your body soften. Feel your presence return. This is not wasted time—this is medicine.
Seek out what restores you: music, nature, community, creativity. Not because you “should,” but because your body and spirit need nourishment.
